AdvocateIndex.com is a technology-based legal information and facilitation platform.
The Platform:
- Provides access to publicly available information of advocates.
- Enables users to identify and connect with legal professionals.
The Platform does NOT:
- Practice law
- Provide legal advice
- Recommend or guarantee any advocate
- Influence judicial or legal outcomes
2. No Legal Advice
All content on the Platform, including articles, guides, FAQs, and templates, is for general informational purposes only.
Nothing on the Platform shall be construed as legal advice, legal opinion, or solicitation.
Users must seek independent professional advice from a qualified advocate before acting on any information.
3. Advocate Listings & Profiles
Advocate profiles are created based on:
- Information submitted by advocates
- Publicly available sources
AdvocateIndex does not verify the correctness, success rate, or competence of any advocate unless expressly stated.
Any interaction, consultation, or engagement between a user and an advocate is purely private and outside the control of AdvocateIndex.
4. No Endorsement or Guarantee
Listing of an advocate does not amount to endorsement.
AdvocateIndex makes no representations or warranties regarding:
- Quality of legal services
- Outcome of cases
- Fees charged by advocates
Users are solely responsible for:
- Selecting an advocate
- Negotiating fees
- Verifying credentials
5. Payments & Fees (If Applicable)
AdvocateIndex may charge:
- Platform service fees
- Listing or subscription fees
- Technology facilitation fees
AdvocateIndex does not share legal fees unless clearly stated as a technology service arrangement.
Advocate fees are agreed directly between advocate and client.
6. Reviews, Ratings & User Content
Reviews reflect personal opinions of users.
AdvocateIndex does not guarantee the accuracy of reviews.
The Platform reserves the right to:
- Moderate or remove content
- Block misuse or defamatory material
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdvocateIndex shall not be liable for:
- Legal outcomes
- Losses, damages, or disputes
- Advocate conduct or negligence
All services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
8. Compliance with Bar Council of India Rules
AdvocateIndex complies with:
- Advocates Act, 1961
- Bar Council of India Rules
The Platform does not permit advertisements, solicitation, or promotional claims by advocates beyond permitted information.
9. Termination of Access
AdvocateIndex reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access
- Remove listings
- Block users or advocates for misuse or violation of law
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Courts at Saran, Bihar shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
