AdvocateIndex is India's premier digital gateway to legal services. We connect citizens with verified advocates across various practice areas and locations, making legal justice more accessible and transparent.
No, AdvocateIndex is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are a platform that hosts a directory of independent legal professionals (Advocates) and provides tools to facilitate communication and bookings between them and potential clients.
For Clients
You can use our 'Find Advocates' page. Simply enter keywords (name or specialization) or filter by your State, District, and Practice Area (e.g., Family Law, Criminal Defense). We also allow filtering by Court type in detailed profiles.
Searching for legal professionals and viewing their profiles is completely free for clients. However, individual advocates may charge consultation fees for their time and services, which are usually mentioned on their profiles.
Once you find an advocate, click 'Book Now' on their profile. Fill in the consultation details. The advocate will receive your request on their dashboard and can choose to accept or decline based on their availability.
For Advocates
Click on the 'Join Now' button on the homepage or header and select the 'Advocate' role. You will need to provide your professional details, including your Enrollment Number and year, along with a valid ID proof for verification.
A Verified Profile means our team has manually reviewed your Enrollment documentation and identity proof. Verified profiles appear higher in search results and carry a 'Verified' badge to build trust with potential clients.
Security & Privacy
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your personal data. We do not share your contact information with advocates until a booking is confirmed, and your private communication is handled securely.
Advocate profiles are public to help users find legal help. However, sensitive information like ID proofs is kept private and only used by our internal team for verification purposes.
